We interview Nikki Barone the Unit Director for the Boys and Girls Club of Oak Harbor who is working tirelessly, literally, to have a place for kids of families who have to work during this time to play and learn. The Club is offering FREE child care for Medical Professionals and Emergency Medical Service worker who are essential to combat and care for people during COVID-19. Other essential workers can bring their kids for a reduced rate of $75 per week per child.
They definitely need our help and are campaigning to raise funds to keep their doors open. Listen to what it's like to keep this essential part of our community running during this time and how else you can help beyond donations.
