Avec is a architect led design-build firm located in downtown Ames, IA. Avec believes that there is a way to do architecture that brings together designers and contractors collaborating with the client to deliver a built project, a process that energizes and empowers the design team, the construction team, and ultimately the owner. Avec is French for “with”, meaning that we want to work alongside every entity involved in a project, as a team, with each other, working for the same end goal.
