Welcome once again into the Video Vault. In this episode I am joined by my good buddy from Grey Wolf entertainment Amin Azoor, and we dive deep into the controversial Star Wars prequel trilogy. Are the prequels as bad as some may think? Is Jar Jar Binks really the WORST character in the entire franchise? We will give our thoughts on the prequels as a whole, what we liked, what we didn't like, what could have been improved and the simple fact that not everything is black and white in the Star Wars Universe

Based on the 2012 British documentary The Wrestlers: Fighting With My Family, tells the story of WWE superstar Paige coming from a wrestling family from Norwich in the UK and her journey through to the WWE.

In this episode of Herbz's Video Vault, I take a look at 2013's splatterfest Truth or Dare. If you're a fan of over the top blood and gore, then you will love this movie. Me, not so much. There are some good aspects to this movie, the script, having the central location being in one area, and the portrayal of the crazed fan who slips into madness. Then comes the complete trash, the backstory of some of the characters, the over the top kills and extremely unsettling actions.

In this edition of Herbz's Video Vault I take a look at 2015's MCU hit Ant Man. Starring Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas and Evangeline Lilly, Ant Man is a great combination of Drama, Action and Comedy. Paul Rudd is perfectly cast as the hapless hero Scott Lang so much that Rudd must have been the only person suitable when the idea for the movie discussed. This movie is a ton of fun to be had by the entire family

This movie was a lot of fun to watch, great action, good amounts of humour, a great cast and amazing script. Sonic the Hedgehog is a fun movie for the whole family to enjoy. Doesn't matter if you're a life long fan of the Sonic games or wanted something to watch with the kids, Sonic the Hedgehog is well worth watching and a great time will be had by all
In this episode of Herbz's Video Vault we go back into the water for 1987's Jaws the Revenge, the 4th and final instalment of the Jaws franchise
Seeking revenge for the previous movies, after killing the youngest Brody, Sean, the shark follows the rest of the Brody family from Amity island to the Bahamas. Jaws the revenge is not only the worst movie in the franchise, it's also one of the worst movies ever made. With a 0% on Rotten Tomatoes, Jaws the revenge killed the entire Jaws franchise.
This movie stinks, period, terrible acting, lazy writing and a shark that blows up for no reason what so ever.
In this episode of Herbz's Video Vault, I take a look at 1983's Jaws 3.
Jaws 3 was originally released in theatres in 3D, but when released onto home video it was in standard 2D as 3D for home use was non existent.
This time around the another Great White Shark terrorises Sea World resort during the opening of it's brand new Undersea Kingdom attraction. While the concept of having the film be located in Sea World is an great one, shoddy effects, a less than interesting script, and shots being used repeatedly in certain scenes do not keep this movie afloat (see what I did there, sea puns). Now don't get me wrong, this movie is watchable, but like the other sequels it doesn't live up to the 1975 original.
In this edition of Herbz's Video Vault, I dive in to 1978's Jaws 2. Written by Carl Gottlieb and Howard Sackler and directed by Jeannot Swzarc. Amity Island is once again at the mercy of a giant Great White Shark, and it is up to Chief Martin Brody to once again save his town from this ferocious beast.
Jaws 2 did not live up to the limits that the 1975 original movie had set, but it is still an enjoyable sequel none the less. If you haven't seen Jaws 2, I strongly recommend that you do as it is an enjoyable thrill ride. Sure some of the characters are two dimensional and easily forgettable, but Jaws 2 is still very much a fun movie to watch
In this episode of the Video Vault, I take a look at the 1975 masterpiece that is Jaws.
Based on Peter Benchley's best selling novel of the same name, Jaws was written by Carl Gottlieb and Peter Benchley, and directed by Steven Spielberg. Jaws is about the small Island community of Amity that has come under siege by a giant, killer, Great White Shark. It is up to Police Chief Martin Brody, Oceanographer Matt Hooper and Shark Hunter known only as "Quint" must band together in the ultimate tale of man vs beast.
Jaws has an amazing cast including Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw and Richard Dreyfuss, Jaws went on to become known as the first "Summer Blockbuster" grossing over $140,000,000 dollars during it's theatrical run (which in 1975 had never been done before).
Well acted, beautifully shot and an incredible script Jaws would give birth to what we know as the modern "creature feature"
In this episode of Herbz's Video Vault I take a look at the brand new release Scoob.
Slated for release in May, this movie went straight to VOD and digital due to the current circumstances. Scoob is a very fun ride from start to finish, beginning with a young Shaggy meeting a stray pup that he names Scooby, to stop him being taken away by the police,as well as the meeting of Mystery Inc. This movie has a lot of great throwback characters including Dick Dastadly, Muttley and Captain Caveman. Beautifully animated and with a tremendous voice cast, Scoob is a movie that the whole family will enjoy
Welcome once again to the Video Vault, in this weeks episode I take a look at 1999's Lake Placid. This movie stars Bill Pullman, Bridget Fonda, Oliver Platt and Betty White. This movie was written by David E Kelley ( best known for Boston Legal and Ally Mcbeal) and directed by Steve Miner.
A fossil expert is sent from the Museum of natural history in New York City to try and solve a strange discovery in the rural location of Black Lake in Maine. Joining forces with the local Sherif's department and wildlife officers, it becomes very clear that there is something lurking underneath the calm surface of "Black Lake"
This movie is very enjoyable to watch but is not without it's issues, too many overlapping conversations and cliched characters who thankfully gain some much needed development into people you actually care about at the end of the film. Betty White gives an amazing comedic performance during her scenes, and the visual effects by legendary artist Stan Winston are incredible.
What is fandom toxicity I hear you ask. Simply put fandom toxicity is when "hardcore" fans from what ever genre of movie empower their o[inions over anyone else. Like a sequel or remake better than the original? the prepare to be barraged with how wrong you are by these "purists". This sort of thing happens all the time, especially with Horror fans or Star Wars fans, you are not aloud to enjoy anything other than the original and will be ridiculed if you don't agree.
In this episode of the Video Vault I take a look at 1999's Sleepy Hollow
Directed by Tim Burton and Starring Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci, the movie centres around Police Detective Ichabod Crane from New York City who has been sent to the small farming community of Sleepy Hollow to investigate the mysterious slayings of 3 townspeople in the space of a fortnight. Using scientific methods it is up to Ichabod to stop these killings and find who or what is behind the fabled Headless Horseman.
This movie is wonderfully shot, and along with beautifully designed 18th century costumes and set designs, Tim Burton's gothic outlook brings a new light onto a classic tale from 1820. I strongly recommend this movie to anyone who hasn't seen it. One of Depp's most fascinating performances
Hello and welcome to the video vault. In this debut episode I will take you back to my childhood with the 1986 animated Transformers: The Movie.
I absolutely loved this movie as a kid, and still enjoy some 34 years later. The animation was done by Toei studios in Japan (Most famously known for Voltron (Beast King GoLion) and Astro Boy). The movie was released at the hight of the original Transformers cartoon series (known as generation 1), and was used to introduce new characters to the franchise to replace older ones. This caused a lot of backlash and would result in the eventual return of beloved Autobot leader Optimus Prime in the tail end of season 3. Transformers the movie has an incredible ensemble voice cast including Leonard Nimoy, Peter Cullen, Frank Welker, Eric Idle and Orson Welles in one of his final performances.
This is a movie you will want to revisit some cherished memories from your past, or to introduce a new generation to an animated classic
