A message from Monty, the owner of the Starboard, about Opening Weekend for 2021.
"We are having opening weekend, we are having St Patricks day, and we are doing what we have been doing for months and months ...here at the starboard and that is, being very safe"
We will be opening at 11 am on March 17th and celebrating opening that following weekend. At this time State-mandated restrictions are in effect (50% capacity, seated dining, Masks, and social distancing).
" We expect an unbelievable summer ... things are gonna be much closer to normal by then as long as we continue doing what we're supposed to do now.....Thanks"

In this week's fiery episode of Dewey Raw, we took a little field trip to OCMD to attend Seacrets Bloody Mary competition. It is safe to say Madness took the brunt of this spicy episode! Though we were in a different territory our Delaware gang was well represented. As we dived in head first into to flavor town we came across Pickles SPICIEST bloody mary! Being the spicy passionate humans that we are Todd saw a challenge and took straight advantage of it!
In this weeks episode of Dewey Raw, we decided to introduce a little idea that we mustered up called “Madness on the Street!” A little spin-off from our previous segments of “Intern Madness.” With obscure ideas and the help of a classic mimosa Todd and Maddie took on the Starboard staff to ask “Where do you wanna see Madness?”

New years day is full of good intentions that have already gone astray or postponed and there is no better place to be than the Starboard in Dewey Beach. the gather up some interviews that are partially coherent and even get highjacked for a min. Whether you have predictions or resolutions you can count on the Dewey faithful for things like drinking champagne out of a shoe.
Years ago the starboard would shut down along with the entire town. Nowadays there are more and more places that remain open year round. Granted the main bar and dinning room at the starboard closes and everything is scaled back to just the shark tank pub. So the question is what should we call it?
Ha the season is winding down but good things are happening all through the off season in fact with less crowds and great weather every knows that the second season is upon us. We get the update from the Kelly of the Dewey Business partnership about the end of season Beach Party. as well as intern madnesses question of the day to find out a little bit more about some of the Dewey Beach Faithful as she asks 'What do you get berdy about?'

Building on the artsy fartsy show we went a little deeper into peoples backgrounds and heritage. and find out what their favorite parts are. Interestingly everyone headed to the bar seemed to have a little Irish in them.

A Friday HH at the Starboard where livin is easy and made easier with drink specials. The week before Memorial day the Starboard and Tito's vodka held their Bartender bloody mary contest. so it was a great day to hang out with some folks getting ready for the season and enjoying one of the last quiet sundays.
We head down south to get spicy at the Seacrets Bloodymary contest of which a couple of our Dewey and Bethany friends are entered. It was a good showing for all the business and a great time for the crowd who got to judge the best in 3 categories.
Back on Location at the Starboard in Dewey Beach for the best party of the season and maybe the whole year. Everyone is excited to be back to work and have fun the only problem is not everyone is in their best drinking shape and voices will suffer. New to the Dewey Raw dysfunctional family is Doug AKA Vanilla Thunder. we have lots of interviews with all sorts of characters from both sides of the bar.
