Are you currently not where you think you want to be? (Read that again)! Where you’re at is a reflection of your current ability and decisions. We all feel that we’re smarter than the next person - that we know more and can do more - but are we just unlucky or perhaps we haven’t had the same opportunities. That's a good fairytale. To change trajectory, you will decide to be one of two types of people; those who decide to never breakthrough, and those who say “here is where I’m at, here are my deficiencies, and here is what I need to change to get where I want to go.” So which will you choose to be today? Embracing change and the unknown is the gateway to all the answers we need as business owners to access all the things we want to achieve. When this idea becomes part of who you are, you strangely might find that you become a person who finds peace in evolution and beauty in the consistent execution of fundamentals. In this podcast dive into how you can fall in love with the frustrations of mastering the fundamentals, and why those who practice this eventually make the complex look easy.

The evolution of a business is heavily linked to the evolution of the owner's thoughts and interpretation of the world.
As we evolve our thinking, we begin to fix problems in our business in a far more efficient way. We just begin to see problems with a new set of filters and we sometimes feel like we have ‘new eyes’, we can see the problem quickly. When you begin to understand this path, you will discover a new level of courage in your ability and can accelerate with confidence and have little regard for looking back.

As your business grows, so too does your value to clients. When you start your business you will say yes to any client and every sale you can. you will go above and beyond and do everything; sometimes to the detriment to you and your business. As you gain more experience, you begin to see and understand the value of your business. You begin to understand what happens when you say yes to a non-ideal client. You will see one thing for sure: the customer is not always right. When can you say thank you but no thank you? The business you were running 5 years ago is not the business you are running today. When you make the decision to say ‘no’ is often when you see that you have two options as an innovating business: you can bring your clients along with you as you grow, or you can keep searching for your ideal client.

The Rapid response from most governments worldwide in Response to the Coronavirus threat forced innovation on most businesses in very short order. We have seen the global business community pivot and adapt quickly, adopting new technologies and pivoting their offering to meet new restrictions and opportunities.
The question we have to ask ourselves is where we were holding back previously?

Whatever your goal in business, whether it be to grow a multinational corporation or provide an opportunity to call your own shots and balance the various parts of your life, there are two questions that every business owner should be asking themselves.

The last few weeks have been tough on everyone. Covid 19 has spread uncertainty into virtually every aspect of our lives and forced many businesses to rapidly adapt to new technologies and working environments. It is understandable if you are tired but the truth is no one really cares. You are the leader. It is your responsibility to do the work; to lead.
But how do we take those next steps, put the right plans into action and remain consistent when exhaustion sets it in. This is the topic of today's podcast.
In Australia, we are now entering week 3 of social distancing and self-isolation due to COVID 19. Now more than ever, structure and discipline are vital to maintaining momentum in your business but that is easier said than done as many are placing themselves in a holding pattern until things "get back to normal".
In this weeks episode, the team discuss the stages of grief that we are all going through, the daily habits that are essential to ingrain now to ensure a positive mindset and ongoing actions in your business and share some of their own struggles and routines during lockdown.

Are you transactional with your potential clients?
Are you looking to make s much profit from them as soon as possible?
Are you losing your potential clients to competitors?
The answer to these three questions could be closely related. In this episode, the team discusses the concept of loss leader strategies as a way to out win your competitors and create opportunities for your clients to purchase from you that are no-brainers. In a climate when many businesses are struggling to attract new clients due to the COVID-19 pandemic this episode is a must-listen.

Opportunity can be found anywhere...as long as you are looking for it.
COVID-19, social distancing and self-isolation have meant that a lot of us are having to face some hard truths about ourselves. For many the excuse of not having enough time to work on the business or to learn that new skill has evaporated.
We have been shown in recent weeks just how fragile our world can be, why are some still hesitant to go all in, to take that chance, to find the opportunity in this brave new world. For some, this moment in history will be the reason to stop for others it will provide the launchpad for what is to come. Which choice will you make?
Stay safe and Enjoy.
This week the team continues their discussion about the movement to online for a lot of businesses in the wake of the COVID 19 pandemic.
Whether the move is to an online product or using new technologies and techniques to connect with your current client base there are many simple ways to ensure your message, though well-intentioned, may not produce the results you were expecting.
Elana Harari CEO of Loud Days digital marketing agency (louddays.com) takes centre stage in this episode and shares some "best practice" insights on what to do and what to avoid if attempting to pivot your business online.
Stay safe and enjoy.
The COVID-19 Pandemic has forced change and innovation on us all. What we were unable or unwilling to do 3 weeks ago is now part of our everyday lives.
Are you one of the many that are looking at this period of business innovation as a time to "get through' and waiting for the work to go back the way it was?
The reality is, we don't know what the world looks like on the other side of this but if you are looking at the current innovations as a short term fix you may be in for a shock in the new business landscape.
Change is inevitable. Whether from internal or external forces.
In this episode, the team recounts some experiences of massive change in their business lives and the impact it had on their lives.
Stay safe and enjoy.
The COVID 19 pandemic has dramatically changed the way we work.
Communication between team members and stakeholders has become even more critical as we all now adjust to the new normal of remote working, virtual meetings and multiple communication platforms and with it comes a raft of new challenges.
In this episode, we explore how people are navigating both internal and external communications using text-based tools such as Slack and email as primary communication methods, the importance of TONE, the surprising roles emoji's now play in business comms and the need to balance action with investigation when communicating with EVERYONE in the light of daily updates from the government with new stimulus and support packages.

None of us were prepared for the COVID 19 Pandemic. The amount and speed of change both personally and for businesses has been unseen in our time. As a business community, we have adapted to the new norm at an amazing speed with businesses implementing and adopting new technologies, systems and processes one daily basis.
This raises a number of questions discussed in today's episode:
Where we holding back before?
Why is this rate of productivity and innovation the standard?
Will we choose or be able to sustain this focus post-pandemic?
and perhaps most importantly
Stay safe and enjoy.
Uncertain times, unprecedented actions, global economic crisis, COVID- 19.
Every day we wake to these words which fill our headlines, our newsfeeds and our conversations.
Now more than ever is the time to focus on those daily actions which will keep us the right headspace to lead our teams through this event.
In this episode, we discuss exercise, one of the hardest and easiest things to do to get yourself in the right state and the role it should be playing in your daily routine.
Stay safe and enjoy.
It is inarguable that the COVID-19 Pandemic has dramatically changed the way we live, work and connect definitely in the short term and perhaps forever.
As many businesses struggle in what is the hardest financial conditions of our lifetimes when many of our worst fears for our business have become reality now is the time to deal in the currency of connection.
We will all have to lean on each other during the days ahead and those that take the time to foster real relationships and connection are the ones with the greatest chance of survival.
Stay safe and enjoy.
As we all adjust to the new normal of remote working, social distancing and global economic uncertainty as leaders we are all face with a decision; Who am I going to be in this new world?
We could spend your time looking back through rose coloured glasses or we could take this opportunity to honestly reflect and reset. Where were we complacent? Where were we not pushing hard enough to create the life we truly wanted and while the cost of the COVID-19 pandemic has been immeasurably tragic could this for us be the line in the sand and a chance for us, for you to step into your power and create a new beginning.
