In this episode of the Magnetic Desires Podcast, we explore the power and potential of Hypnotherapy. We discuss how it works to reprogram our subconscious minds so that our automatic thoughts and actions are aligned with our goals. We explain how traditional therapies sometimes struggle to break through blocks because they rely on conscious minds instead of tapping into the deeper layers of the subconscious. We also discuss two of the most effective techniques used in hypnotherapy: creative visualization and mental rehearsal.

In this episode, we discover the power of subconscious reprogramming and how hypnosis can help us tap into our inner potential. We look at how the subconscious mind works and how it affects our behaviors. We explore ways to access and reprogram our minds using hypnosis, and how when both the conscious and subconscious mind are on the same page, changes start to happen easily and effortlessly to manifest what we really want in life — from tangible objects to intangible realizations of personal growth. Lastly, I share a free audio recording called “Magnetic Desires” which can help kickstart the process of rewiring your subconscious mind to align with your truest aspirations.

I’m kicking off this episode by talking about dating apps. I talk about the shame that revolves around dating and dating apps, as well as, some of my experiences on the apps. And then I deep dive into the unrealistic expectations and vision of the perfect partner I created when putting together my list for my future partner. I touch on why this list was coming from a wounded place, and then go into why I’m scrapping the list and focusing on finding someone that has a growth mindset.
I also talk about:
If you’re someone who keeps themselves stuck in situations that may not be serving them anymore, you probably feel a lot of resistance to changing your mind. We’ve been conditioned to think that changing our minds is a negative, but it doesn’t always have to be! We are allowed to give ourselves permission to change directions. In any, and all areas of our life. It's just that we've been conditioned to think that change is a negative.
In this episode I talk about...
But after this episode, I hope to change your mind about how you feel about changing your mind (sorry, I had to 🤭).
SHOW NOTES:
Looking for some encouragement to overcome perfectionism? Check out this podcast episode where I talk about what I’ve learned from my patterns of perfectionism.
In this episode, I'm talking about what the process of manifesting my dream car looked like. I talk about my history with manifestation, the many tests I had to overcome, and coincidences that were too good to be true. If you weren't a believer, or if you needed some inspiration to strengthen your trust muscle with the universe, this episode is for you!
The Cheat Sheet to Life: Having High Self Worth. Want to change your life? Build up your self worth. In this episode, I talk about the difference between self love and self worth, what having high self worth looks like, where low self worth comes from (hint: from your subconscious mind), and why having high self worth can change your life. I get personal and talk about what my life looked like before loving myself, and why reprogramming my subconscious beliefs to raise my self worth has been a game changer for me.
Are you trying to find the courage to solo travel?
After my engagement ended, I had big dreams of traveling. The only problem was... there were a handful of fears, obstacles, and limiting beliefs that I had to overcome to live a lifestyle that I wanted.
You see the beautiful pictures of my travels online, but what you don’t see is how I have to find that bravery.
So in this episode, I’m taking you behind the scenes of the conditioning I had to overcome to go from rarely traveling to solo traveling. I share how I overcame my fears, my #fails during my trips (it’s not all glamorous!), and encouragement and tips you need to start solo traveling yourself.
This is for all you that feel like you need permission, are holding yourself back, and are saying you aren’t brave enough to start.
Hint: You are brave enough, you just have to uncover the courage :)
This is a topic I find myself preaching about at least 5 times a week, so I’m excited to share my story with all of you. Enjoy!
If you are anything like I was, you might be experiencing just a lull in life. Mundane, and maybe a little boring. You just feel blah. It sucks because that blah can make you feel like you lack motivation, and just have a “fuck it” attitude. Almost like you’re stuck in a trap where you know there’s gotta be more, this can’t be all life is right? Maybe like there is just this constant lull in life, even when things are going great, that happiness doesn’t last. You can’t seem to grasp onto the happiness and excitement, it’s like it’s always fleeting. And you can’t understand why you just can’t be happy and content all the time, why you have to have moments where you just feel bored and like something is missing, you don’t feel complete. And I don’t mean to be blunt buttttt you my friend, are suffering from having low self worth. I know that’s scary to hear, but I can only say that because I was there too! For 27 years. But I found my way out by doing the subconscious work on myself. By looking at my limiting beliefs and healing them so that they stopped controlling the way I felt about myself, the way I talked about myself, and the way that I was acting in my life. I am so, so, so passionate about this topic because I have experienced first hand how subconscious work can change your life. Doing the subconscious work has been an absolute game changer for me, so much so I spent a decent amount of time angry that people weren’t talking about this enough. Like how are there so many people suffering from their thoughts, when there is a way out. And 90% of society doesn’t know about it? How could that be?
This episode shines a light on something I know can change the way you feel about yourself, and therefore, can change your life. Healing the limiting beliefs that are living in your subconscious.
I talk about how my insecurities led me to hitting a mini rock bottom. I talk about the ways I was tested, and the old pattern and triggers that came up (so, so, so many of them). I believe that the universe tests us when we are up leveling in our lives as a way to see if we’re ready for the new things it has in store for us, so it’s no surprise that I was challenged as much as I was BUT that doesn’t mean it was easy to overcome. I talked about what that looked like for me this week, and the lessons about control and perfectionism I was able to pull out of it.
Can you relate to what I was feeling this week? Feeling like you want to control everything to go perfectly so that you can feel worthy? Email me or message me on instagram so we can talk about it!
At the end of the episode I mentioned a couple of blog posts that helped me overcome my struggles this week. Here they are:
How to Challenge Thoughts that are Causing Your Suffering is about 4 questions that liberated me from the downward perfectionism spiral. You can check that out here.
I referred back to the book Loving What Is to help me remember that we can reframe our thoughts so they stop causing us suffering. I wrote about the lessons I took away from the book in this article, How to Stop Suffering As Told By Byron Katie’s “Loving What Is”. You can read that here.
In this episode, I share the ONE question I ask myself every single day, and how it has transformed my relationship to myself. I talk about the ways that I show myself love, why self care is important, and how it has helped me build my self worth so that I radiate love from the inside out. I discuss how important prioritizing yourself is if you want to build a better relationship with yourself, and to build resilience to the stresses of life. You’ll definitely want to start showing yourself some lovin’ after this episode.
You can listen to the podcast episode, “My Journey to Fill the Void” here.
Showing yourself love is one of my biggest tips to surviving Valentine’s Day. If you’re looking for more tips, check out this blog post.
A short intro about me, my life, my story, my goals, and how I got here. I talk about how missing out on the things I wanted to do growing up left me feeling like I wasn't good enough to have the things that I wanted. I talk about how that left a void inside of me that I was constantly seeking to numb, and how after I got into a serious relationship in my 20s, I finally filled that void. Except, things didn't go as planned and I was forced into my self love journey. The journey was rough, but I talk a little bit about what life on the other side looks like for me.
Have you gone through something similar? I’d love to hear about it. Shoot me an email or message me on instagram and we can swap stories.
