They are passionate about creating space for honest, vulnerable conversations and inviting people into the space. You’re invited to join in on the fun. This podcast is The Ramble On Show produced by The Armadillo Den. Ramble & Co. has had a good amount of transition in 2021 and 2022 and one thing has stayed the same, the heart. While Ryan isn't able to be in our everyday conversations, he very much is apart of our family and company.
Today’s episode is centered around the meaning of intention. We begin with a snippet of the Ramble manifesto to help align our minds and hearts with the “why” of Ramble & Co. Over the years we have grown, pivoted, and continued to welcome the evolution that has made a home at Ramble. Join Kathryn as she talks about the uncertainty, tug to change and refocus, and the need to take time to sit and reflect on what has been and what is to come.

We love to love people. We love to gather around bonfires, pulling up extra chairs to our table, or making the drive to see old friends. We love hearing a chorus of laughter coming from a friend-filled living room, squishy baby thighs, and breaking out into spontaneous dance parties with our kids. We love the slow start of a day with a steaming cup of coffee as much as the feeling of satisfaction after a hard day’s work.
We believe in balance; knowing when to speed up and when to pump the brakes. We believe in the wondrous power of paint and a good color palette. We believe that anything old can be made new if you work hard and that perfection doesn’t exist, only perfect moments. We believe in celebrating and respecting diversity as it appears in the form of color, culture, language, or belief. We believe that each and every human has deep worth and beauty that is unique to themselves and we actively fight to stand against any form of discrimination that would say otherwise.
We believe that when women are for one another, worlds can change and where sincere friendship exists, insecurity and loneliness cannot survive. We believe true community exists when we allow our stories to be woven together like a tapestry of belonging that covers us wherever we go. We believe that being connected to our own stories equips us to play a unique role in our community. We believe there is power and healing when we stop talking and listen to one another. We believe in the value of presence. We believe in learning from our mistakes and never settling for less than what we are capable of accomplishing.
Living in a self-serving society leaves us with space to extend love beyond our own personal agendas. Yet, how are we to extend love if we may not know when it is needed? Everyone deserves the opportunity to receive unconditional love. Being aware of how you and others give and receive love allows us to make a love a habit every day.

When you choose joy, goodness will gravitate towards you and radiate onto those around you.
Joy can be found in the simple things like at the bottom of your favorite coffee cup, experiencing a colorful sunset during your drive home after a long day of work, or doing things that make your body and mind feel balanced. Whenever joy makes the slightest appearance, we encourage you to reach for it and allow yourself to choose it, for joy will always choose you.

Finding peace within the goodbyes that are still full of love and gratitude is one of the most difficult parts of growth. As people we are accustomed to many changes throughout our life but, why do we fear change as if it will always have a negative impact on our story? From the ups and downs of our new Waco location to the constant ebb and flow of Ramble life our team has gained a new perspective of what trusting the journey means to them. It’s the season finale of The Ramble On Show!! Have no fear - we will be back! (insert our best Terminator impression here) We are wrapping up our season with one of our favorite humans, Ramble's virtual employee + resident nomad - Charly Jackson! Charly has been with Ramble since 2017 and has worked as a contract/virtual employee since she started with us! Keeping us organized, handling the BTS of our Custom business, + at one point keeping all financials + books in check :) She has done all of this while living a nomadic lifestyle - moving, traveling, adventuring, and working in various places all over the United States. She shares how she has made this dream way of life work for her + how it all started. We loved having Charly share a bit of her story + adventure with us and we promise you will love it too!

Ramble 2.0 is coming to Waco and we cannot wait! A second location has been a dream of Kathryn’s for years and it is now becoming a reality. Ramble is an apparel store BUT our hearts go beyond apparel. We desire to create intentional space for women to be seen, be known, and to find community. Fear is the story you’ve told yourself that has prevented you from running after what you want. But how do you overcome that and lean into ambition? Big or small - ambition is something that drives us all. Whether it drives us to fear or motivates us to run after it harder!

Identify your core fear when it comes to what keeps you from pursuing your passion or dream. When you name what it is - you can then begin the process of taking small steps to overcome the fear and run towards your passions/dreams/goals!

This episode is dedicated to some of our favorite road trips , funniest moments (ever worn shape-ups in the mountains?), and some of our worst trips (car wrecks in Las Vegas + exploding toddler). We also share some of our tips when it comes to road trips, vacations, + traveling with little humans. BONUS: we send-off Kathryn (but for real - she left in the middle of this episode) as she heads out on her 7 day family vacation!
