We all start uninformed, but have you been misinformed? How can you guard against misinformation?
Has someone in a position of power earned your loyalty, or have they demanded it? Coaches? Teachers? Donald Trump???
Would you prefer to be taught or trained? Which are you doing to those looking to you for understanding?
It all comes down to one simple question? Do you really want to be doing this thing that you have to do?
While some people at times use these words interchangeably, the awareness of the consequences and the impact on others makes them very different.
