Riverside is a non denominational church that tends to focus on Jesus and the three signs that accompany His community- everybody's welcome, nobody's perfect and anything's possible with Him working in our lives. We do church "different" and as you'll see that includes our lessons.
What is the book of Ecclesiastes all about? Is everything REALLY meaningless? What is Solomon trying to do here? We define some terms that just might spin the kaleidoscope when it comes to how you look at this seemingly dark book.
Things take on different meanings depending on how you look at them. The apostle Paul couldn't see the cross as a bad thing because of what it did for us. Like a mother doesn't remember the pain of her child's birth but focuses on the joy of her children, Jesus doesn't want us to focus on the despair that is often associated with the cross.
