How many times do we miss the magic of everyday life? Just because we are so engrossed in the glossy filter.

The film industry has the best storytellers, but the charities have the best stories.

These are what we talked about with our guest this week, Chris Payne.

Chris Payne is the producer and director of Constellation Films, which he created in 2012 to help nonprofits better engage with their audiences.

The company is called Constellation because they're a virtual network of connected filmmakers seeking to offer agency standard films without all the overheads.

Did you know that 30% of women don't know they're in menopause?🚩

And When we think of a woman going through "menopause" we use terms like “the change” ... Expect a woman to experience mood swings and be emotional. This image doesn't help women with their mental health.

We took a deeper dive into menopause, with our guest this week, Rachel Ferster-Twyford @girlinlimbo_

Rachel is the Owner and Founder of GirlInLimbo. Girl in Limbo is a blog site that focuses on mid-life, parenting, health, and travel.

When it comes to changing careers paths, pay isn’t the No. 1 motivator.

Yes, it is! I believe somehow you agree.😏

The pandemic put us into this experiment of seeing how you could value your professional dimension by factors other than pay, such as quality of life [and] quality of time with your family.

These are what we talked about with our guest this week, Gemma Ryan.

Gemma Ryan is a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney and a member of The Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA).

After over 14 years of working for firms of Solicitors and Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys, Gemma decided to establish The Little IP Company in February 2022, to step away from the demanding corporate legal world, seeking a better work/life balance for her young family.

This week our guest is Donna Morgan, an integrative body therapist, somatic worker and coach. Her focus is integrating mind, body, and emotions and has been working in the field of bodywork for 27 years.

Her philosophy, which we discussed in the episode, is that our mind, body, and emotions are like three musical notes. Often we play them separately and can become very skilled at one of the notes but deaf to the others. For instance, the use of the mind is often given more value than intuition, body sense or emotion. When we use all three in life, we become familiar with all the “musical notes” giving us many more possibilities, options, and skills to face the challenges that life brings. This means we are less likely to become overwhelmed and more resilient and at peace within ourselves. It is like we begin to play chords rather than just notes and life can feel fuller and in better flow.

Another aspect of her work is looking at which survival skills we have developed earlier in life but which are now inhibiting rather than helping us. All our survival strategies were built in wisdom and intelligence (that is why we are still here!) but if they become a sticking point then they haven't been integrated and can create internal conflict and overwhelm.

Donna also has a wonderful workshop coming up (starts on February 13th!) about leaving out (of) love, to find our more and connect with Donna please reach out at donnagaylemorgan@gmail.com

This week we interview the lovely Katie Skrine, from Katie Wellness. Katie promotes A balanced approach to nutrition, fitness & wellbeing. Helping you achieve optimal health and restore ultimate balance in your life through bespoke nutrition, fitness and lifestyle changes.

It was an interesting conversation about connecting the dots, tuning into what matters to you and has been a constant in your life to discover your purpose. Katie had always found exercise and healthy eating to be her "go-to", her tools to live and feel better (even when wellness was not even a thing and was even frown upon!) which in turn she has turned into her tools to help others.

You've heard us talking about teenagers and the struggles they have faced most recently, particularly since the pandemic hit us. We thought it was time we spoke to one fo them to truly understand and hear in their own words what living in the current world means for them, and we could have not spoken to someone more kind, courageous, grounded than Pearl Prime.

Pearl was kind enough to open her heart and speak candidly about her struggles and the struggles teenagers face broadly speaking. From social media to comparison and loosing touch with your friends, hers is a journey of understanding herself, the world she lives in and how we (each and every one of us) play a role in the way we move forward.

We know young adults and teenagers are a group hardly hit nowadays, so please, if this resonates with you and feel you are struggling and in need of help, know you are not alone and you do not have to do this alone. Reach out, to friends, family, loved ones... or a professional, but please do not struggle in silence. We would love to help: contact@wearepeac.com

Teenagers are amongst the group that has been struggling the most with the pandemic. Lack of real connection and communication with their friends, the rise of social media use (and the comparison and struggle that comes with it) paired with the pressure at school and the grades / exams at the end of the academic year.

Thankfully people like our guest this week, Tanya Nicholas, are also on the rise and willing to help. Tanya helps students, parents and teachers overcome the overwhelm of school and daily life. She is founder of TN Education Coaching and Mentoring. She helps students feeling stressed out by their studies or who want to be making more progress, but just aren't sure where to begin parents who simply want their child to succeed and teachers feeling burnt out or overwhelmed and want to restore their life work balance without loosing passion for one of the most rewarding jobs on the planet.

She sees the potential in every human being and supports and challenges them to become the best version of themselves. No wonder this is exactly what she does in her coaching practice now!

Vicky joined us in our last Empowered to Thrive course and was kind enough to join us this week and talk about what she learnt.

Like many of us, she found herself on a place of survival, only (again, like many of us!) she didn't know that's what it was. Mother, wife, also carer of her elderly mum.... she spent her days looking after those she loved, but hardly ever looked after herself. And this not only had an impact on her own energy and health, but on those around her.

It is very easy to fall prey of this routine, we live in autopilot and think this is the way, the only way, what we have to do. But life is far more than this, life is about joy, happiness, being on the driver seat and learning to control what we can control to thrive.

Listen to Vicky's experience and hear for yourself how a little bit of will, stepping out of your comfort zone and seeking the right help can get you there.

And if this sounds anything like you, join us! We are welcoming the next cohort in our Empowered to Thrive course, kicking off on April 19th. Email us to find out more details and see if you are a fit: contact@wearepeac.com

In this episode we interview the incredible Shirley Kennet.

Shirley joined and become a constable in the Metropolitan Police Service at 18 years of age and spent most of her career as a Detective. Her final job in the police was working as a Detective Sergeant in the Community Safety Unit where she managed cases relating to domestic violence until she was medically retired from the police in August 2017, as she suffered from several health issues. She then started her own business, working in her local community as a carer for the elderly.

And earlier last year she set her own personal goal to get her health and well-being back! The changes she made in her life transformed her and inspired her to help others do and feel the same, so she then became a coach and is on a path to help women feel better about themselves.

This week we had the lovely Sarah Fruehling with us. Her story is one of purpose, of what some will call a nice chain of coincidences, some will call following your heart and finding your purpose.

She was in her 23rd year as a Licensed Professional Counselor and entrepreneur, running her own successful therapy practice, when an old friend of hers invited her to lunch. A successful entrepreneur himself, he had already created success through founding numerous startups. During that two-hour lunch, she listened to his story, learned more about his life challenges and ideal future vision, and realised that she had just stumbled upon my next true calling: Sarah Fruehling founded Fruehling Coaching and Facilitation to help elite leaders, influencers, top entrepreneurs and those they impact, harness their innate talent and curiosity in order to build self-awareness, insight and develop skills to help them succeed. Their clients are able to gain a deeper sense of meaning and purpose while creating more abundance in their lives.

She has built a diverse team of world-class coaches, each with a unique background, area of expertise, and depth of experience. Their approach involves matching you with the perfect coach to create the ideal coaching dynamic which will support you to become your very best.

Today marks a big milestone in getting back to normal life in the UK, schools re-open and thousands of students return to school, their learning and friends. And this is something that is causing mixed reactions, in both children and parents. For children, you may find some of them looking forward to it, to see their friends and get a bit of normality back in their lives, for some others, this comes as a shock and they do not want to go back, as a result, fears, anger, anxiety.... are showing up. Parents are not too different, some will be celebrating theirs kids being back and looking forward to getting some time back and not juggle too many balls, some will be missing this unique time spent with their kids, some will do both.

Whichever way of the spectrum you or your child/ren are in, today is a day that will trigger some feelings, and we have brought back Juliette Oakshett, dramatherapist, systemic practitioner, school counsellor and parent coach who specialises in work with children and families, to help us navigate this new change.

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you say YES? If you stayed open to connecting, to reaching out and accepting opportunities? Well, that is what our guest this week did, she said yes, welcomed every opportunity with an open heart and sought connecting with like minded people to help her progress and move forward.

Hulya Kurt was a great example of what connection, networking and living life with an open heart and mind can help us achieve. Now founder of her own company, Managing Director of Noble Manhattan Coaching Switzerland, president of Organization Women International Trade Geneva and Area Director at Toastmasters in Switzerland. Bullying. Terrifying just to even read about it, let alone when you experience it and when you discover there is none to little help for it. Well, this is exactly what our guest this week, Kerrie Patterson, had to go through. Having been bullied at work, she tried looking out for support, and found this was limited... In time, she overcame this, and part of this was due to taking up upcycling! The process of bringing a forgotten, dented piece back to life showed many resemblances to building yourself back again, and this is exactly what she does now! She has set up her own business where she helps victims of bully overcome this, by working on themselves and their confidence, discovering their inner strength and confidence, by Standing Tall (which is the name of her beautiful program!).

Navigating this situation gets harder and harder. Anxiety and stress levels are sky rocketing, both individuals and the workplace report being hit harder this third time around.... and the uncertainty of when will this all end still lingers.

With this in mind, is easy to see the impact this (almost) a year has had on us all. And we wanted to understand what living through a pandemic really meant for 3 different people, from three different walks of life, responsibilities (both at home and at work)and how they have navigated this thus far.

We spoke to Gemma Kirk - Head of Fundraising at Chickenshed and mum of two, Elise Lockyer - Head of HR at Sonovate and mum of 2, and Jacob Endemano - Senior Account Manager - Sports + Entertainment at The Maverick Group, in his late 20s and recently moved in with his partner.

Join us and hear what things, tips, resources... have helped them get through this time and how they have faced the many challenges and opportunities they found.

Natalie's journey gave us all the feels. She was diagnosed with depression in her early 20s. An illness that affected not only her brain, but her body. She didn't feel deserving of any love, attention, understanding... from her loved ones or herself. She couldn't quite understand how they wanted to stay close to her when she herself wouldn't have chose it. yet, it was this love and support that helped her - when she was prescribed some tablets whose side effect was having suicidal thoughts.

This is when a moment of clarity struck, and she decided to take her health in her own hands.

She is now using this experience, these learnings and passion and helping others overcome their challenges through her Nutritional Therapy.

Please, if you are out there experiencing anything similar, know that you are not alone and it doesn't have to be this way. Please seek professional help, like Natalie (or even reach out to her too! her details are below). There is a way out.

Have you ever wondered why you see the world the way you see it? Why you think what you think or what sort of pre-conceived opinions you may hold of the world around you and those who live in it?

Well, that is exactly what our guest this week, Femi Otitoju, does: challenges perceptions, defies the status quo and replaces them with a new way of looking at the world.

Femi founded Challenge Consultancy in 1985 to provide high quality, effective training and consulting services for the private, public and voluntary sectors. Challenge is now an association of trainers and consultants designing and delivering solutions for a wide range of UK and global organisations. Combining a scientific background with persuasive and engaging training skills, Femi has designed a variety or programmes and courses about this cultural awareness.

This was an inspirational talk that helped us shift our perspective and become more aware of the realities and unconscious bias we all hold, definitely worth a listen!

Sometimes we feel something is off, and we can feel it for a long time. And sometimes, what is off is our health. This was Gretchen's case. She started to notice certain things where not right, a variety of symptoms and seemingly unrelated. She began a quest to better look after herself and her health, consulted specialists and plenty of research. Which, with an autoimmune illness (that can be utterly debilitating) was a journey in itself.

She discovered nutrition played a pivotal role in her journey and this is what we spoke about in today's episode. How our health and looking after ourselves starts from within, from our gut and what we feed our system.

Gretchen has done plenty of research in this matter, so, if you want to connect with her to find out more: Her LinkedIn Profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/gretchennemechek/ AutoImmune Wellness Resources: https://autoimmunewellness.com/ (this is a great starting point to learn more) Her favorite quote: Bruce Lee: “To hell with circumstances, I create opportunities.”

Here in the Uk we are back to lockdown, pretty much like we were in March last year, staying at home, schools and commerce closed.... and as a result we are seeing a spike in anxiety levels. We have been approached by many reporting feeling overwhelmed, stressed... And also some feeling the need to "not drop the ball". With home schooling, working from home, looking after ourselves, eating healthily, doing exercise... all important, but also can result in adding more stress and overwhelm.

We are re-sharing with you our episode called Superhero Syndrome, as it is important to understand that you do not have to do it all, and even if you wanted to, it does not have to be perfect. At a time like this, being kind with ourselves and do our best, is more than enough.

As always, if you are struggling and feeling you cannot cope, please know you are not alone, we are here for you and we would love to help: fleurprime@gmail.com lucia@coachingwithlucia.com

Christmas is fast approaching and we are all now facing the frantic season. Heightened by the unconventional climate this year represents.... Speaking to Harold was the oasis we needed. It helped put things back in perspective and make a bit of sense of this crazy 2020.

Humble, honest, open, very funny and kind, he delivered one of the most important learnings: what the world can achieve driven by kindness and love. Now, we understand not many people can mirror his action (becoming a living organ donor) but his underlying message is certainly one we all can - living by kindness, be curious, understand we are all connected and the ripple effect our actions cause.

His was a journey of discovery, curiosity, togetherness and learnings.

We hear a lot about wellbeing, navigating change, letting our emotions flow and adjust. But, are we receiving the right education to know who to? In school, we receive a lot of information, from maths, to science, history, language.... but how about emotions? Did somebody teach us those? Chances are we did not, and this is why Juliette's work is SO important, as this is exactly what she does. She helps children navigate these, understand the value and need of a healthy emotional intelligence. Being heard, knowing you are heard and being given the tools and resources to manage it.

Wouldn't it be amazing if every school operated this way? Wouldn't our children, our future, be all the better if this was the way?

Listen up to Juliette's story and hear why it would.

What.an.episode.

We meet very few people in our lives whom we can say really make life better, Shola is, without a doubt, one of them.

He was raised in a difficult area in London, surrounded by bad decisions and paths. Also, he is black, so he was surrounded by unfairness, inequality and racist threats. And as Black Lives Matter movement is finally showing us all, he still is. But, in every step of the way, he chose love, he took decisions that made his life not only worth living, but an inspiration to those he touches.

Mentor, father of two, spouse and friend. Shola is a beautiful soul and we are forever grateful for having him with us.

Making time for you, reconnecting with yourself is one of the most important things you can do. Why? because we live in a world of noise, where everyone (friends, family, media...)has an opinion, an opinion that influences us, shapes our lives, sometimes unconsciously. We may feel like, on paper, our lives "should" be great (we've got a house, a family, a partner, a job...) yet somehow our lives don't fulfil us, don't bring us joy. Taking time to check on ourselves, proper time to listen to our own voices and discover what we want and how we want it is the key to awaken our inner strength. And we cover this for you today!

But, also, as you will hear, we have an exciting announcement! We are hosting our first ever UK Retreat! Awaken Your Inner Power (you can find us on facebook) and we will be delighted to have you there! One edit though, the retreat is in The Lodges at New House Farm, in East Sussex (not Kent!) and places are going really fast, so if you want to join us please make sure you book with us asap! In today's episode we talk about boundaries. Why it is important to establish them and stick with them!

Boundaries are not a way of showing you're picky, nasty or non-collaborative, boundaries are a way of showing your self-worth. They can be defined as the limits we set with other people, which indicate what we find acceptable and unacceptable in their behaviour towards us. The ability to know our boundaries generally comes from a healthy sense of self-worth, or valuing yourself in a way that is not contingent on other people or the feelings they have towards you.

And we hear you, they are not easy to set! so hopefully we will manage to help you doing so, by giving you a few tips and tricks for setting them and understanding why is it key for you to have them.

We also recommend a book by Dr. Brene Brown "The Power of Vulnerability" which is a wonderful way to also understand boundaries and ourselves.

Have an amazing week and happy boundary-setting! Love from us at 3 Talk

In today's episode we talk about Self-Care. In a day and age where looking after yourself is on trend... are we doing it the right way? Or are we mistaking it by talking about pampering and looking good? (self-indulgence).

The line between these two is blurry, and we hope today's episode will help you not only differentiate them but also give some ideas as to what's on offer when talking about self-care.

As a general rule, when we talk about CARE we talk about doing things that make you feel good from the inside, that help you develop and become a happier, more contented version of yourself. This is, of course, very personal, and what for some may be a must for other would be a luxury or something that hasn't even crossed their mind, and that is OK - We are all different and our differences also apply on self-care programs.

Let's start with yours! Happy listening!

Love is a magnetic force, it attracts others, compels them to stay. Thats why it is so important that, before we are ready to share this energy with others, we learn to share it with ourselves.

Quite frequently, in relationships, we look for the other to fill in the gaps; well, it should be the other way around: we should come to the relationship already feeling like a whole, ready to share this path and happiness with others rather than expecting the provide it.

Having the confidence that what you have to offer is more than enough will make your potential significant other feel at ease, safe and trusting.

And in today's episode we give you 5 tips to do so!

Is it the cause or result of your problems? How can you deal with it? It is important to make a differentiation between stress and challenge, being under pressure because a deadline is fast approaching is a different thing to being stressed, so learn to identify the signs of each and bring awareness to the situation.

Stress can manifest in many ways, whether this is physically (muscular tension, lack of lust…) or emotionally (being irritable, feeling blue or tired) so, again, it is important that we learn to identify our triggers and manifestations so we can plan ahead and put measures in place to avoid the burn out.

A great tool to implement to help you keep stress at bay is SENS (Sleep, Exercise, Nutrition and Silence) – if you tackle those 4 elements and know what you’re lacking / needing more of chances are your stress levels will decrease. And if you throw an R to the mix (Respect) for you and for other, learn to put your boundaries in place and know your needs so you can manage your and others expectations.

Stepping away, physically, from the situation / environment causing the stress is also a good tip, as this will give you perspective and break the toxic pattern forming to avoid falling into this stressful spiral again.

And lastly, don’t be afraid to seek help, don’t let it spiral out of control and talk to people that can help - whether it is family or friends or specialist, there are people out there that can help and will be a great assistance.

The good news is that, when you know where you are and what to do, in a battle of stress vs you, YOU will always WIN!

everything starts as a thought: from the little things like what to eat to big decisions like moving or changing careers. It is important to choose them intentionally so you can focus on getting what you want. Becoming more intentional is not an easy path, it requires re-training your mind, but, as everything in training, it can be done and it really is liberating. It gives you the control and ownership of your thoughts, which will shape your path and overall success.

See intentional thinking as a first step of a two-act formula: Think + Act = Success.

A thought creates a feeling, a feeling creates a motivational sensation that will help you take action and start walking in the direction of your dreams.

Now, we now saying be more intentional is easier said than done, so here are a couple of exercises that can help you achieve it: 1. Mindfulness and Meditation: the most powerful tool that you’ll find here. These help up us be in the present, bring the attention to the here and now and the thoughts appearing – by bringing awareness we are able to start selecting them. Realise not every thought is true, some are ideas we have of something, which can be made up or installed there by somebody else. Identify which are yours, which ones you believe in, as these are the ones that will help you move forward. 2. Chair exercise: when the inner critic and negative self-talk start, try this exercise: get 2 chairs and pretend the child version of yourself is sat next to you; then try talking to this child the way you’re talking to yourself, tell him / her how ugly, stupid, useless and uncapable of doing things he / she is…. Impossible right? Then why do you do it to yourself??

To sum it up, thoughts CAN create your reality and CHANGE your life, so select the ones you want to be part of it. Bring them from the unconscious level to the conscious, aware and present moment and select what you say to yourself, your spirit does not know the difference!

Toxic patterns - an unhealthy habit that silently stops you from living your best life. They come in many shapes and forms: comparison, self-doubt, people pleasing, over achieving, catastrophising, loosing focus…. And they all sound intimidating, but, good news is, once you identify them, they can be changed and life can get so much easier and better!

Sometimes is not as easy, as these patterns develop at a subconscious level, but, they also give us clues so we can become aware of them. Listen to your body and look out for signs – do you feel achy? Always tired? Repeated headaches?... Pay attention to your words so you can transform your narrative – are you always saying negative things about you? Comparing yourself to others and missing the benchmark?... These may be signs of a forming toxic pattern. Awareness is the trigger of action, and even thought working on ourselves is one of the hardest jobs, it also is the most rewarding. So…Stop. Notice. Act. – and start living your best life!

We covered a lot in today’s episode but if we can leave you with one thought let it be this: Positive thinking is a learning process, and you can master it. And as all learnings, it takes time, practice, patience....and a lot of falling forward! Because that's what we should do, fall and lift ourselves up - back on our feet and stronger than we were before. Understanding that being kind to yourself, not living on absolutes (that is, nothing is permanent - the situation you are in is just a situation, and it will pass) and that you are not your thoughts, are key elements to master the art of positivity. But, above it all, is the knowing that you are not alone - surround yourself with people that will cheer you on and cheer you up, absorb their energy and fill up your positive tanks!

Work-life balance can hugely impact our lives and be the cause of unease or stress. Pretty much everyone we know, and ourselves included, suffer from this imbalance. But, do not despair, before overwhelm kicks in and we feel like we have lost control of our lives, there are quite a few things we can do and tips to recognize when to take action.

First, is important to understand that there is no rule for work-life balance, there is no right or wrong, whatever works for you is what you should do. We are all different and we have a different set of priorities, so first step is recognizing what is important to you and focus on what makes you happy and brings you joy.

Focusing on yourself and where you are right now will help you check in and assess what needs doing in order to achieve what you want, whether this is spending more time with family and friends or working smarter. We all live a multi-faceted live and each life is different, so stay in your path, do not try living somebody else’s because that’s what you think you should do or what you see is done. What works for them, might not work for you.

Embrace your uniqueness, establish your priorities and define what you consider success / progress. You are in charge of your life and your wellbeing, make decisions that align with it.

Happy listening and balancing!

Often people have lots of dreams and desires about how they want to live their life but their energy levels get in the way and they don’t achieve what they would really love to achieve. Today we discuss how we lose energy and what we can do to create more energy.

If you are tired of feeling tired and wishing you had more energy; today’s podcast is for you!

You’ll discover there are lots of ways we can help ourselves: -If we think or feel we don’t have enough energy we can affect ourselves spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically as we start putting ourselves through bad lifestyle/habit choices - If we don’t become aware of the cycle of bad energy we will continue to have low energy - When we recognise our poor energy choices we can regain control and move forward to improving our energy - We have to work with the reality of the situation- for example if we have children who are not sleeping through the night of course we will be tired or if we have any reason we haven't slept but we have a choice of how we manage being tired. - We can work with our mind and body and put steps in place to work with the energy you have. - Meditating even for a small amount of time when tired helps us to gain our energy back. - Nutritious non-processed food gives you energy. If we go for a sugar fix the benefits are short lived; we actually end up feeling worse. - Use the h.a.l.t theory to help you not use sugar to lift your energy. H is are you hungry? A is are you angry? L is are you lonely? T is are you tired?

It helps us think what we really need. • Just stopping before we make choices helps us think what we really need. • We waste energy when we are in a poor mental state. • It will help if we look where our energy is going if we are losing energy because we are feeling fear, anger, resentment or guilt we need to try and manage these emotions • Releasing negative emotions gives you positive energy back. • Recent research states that people are happier when they have a positive outlook hence emotional resilience will help us not to drain our energy. • Building a gratitude list shifts our energy because it helps us see the positive side • Building on the good helps us bring positive energy to our life as we can see our life has lots of good in it. • Feeling not good enough can drain our energy hence working on our self worth is important as it helps us make good choices • Alcohol, processed food, lack of sleep, lack of movement all drains our energy • The dictionary definition is the strength and vitality required to maintain physical and mental activity. • Suffering depletes our energy keeping a positive mindset essential for good energy. • We are a mind, body and soul. It helps if we consider what really resonates with our true nature so we can prioritise what we give our energy to. This feeds our soul and stops us giving away energy to the wrong things. • Setting boundaries and saying no to things can help us not give our energy away to the wrong things. • We can be people pleasers to feel good and then that can deplete our energy we need to be true to ourselves. • Acknowledge what happens in those 24hrs don’t push ourselves to a point where we know we won’t be able to achieve, be aware but be realistic, make mindful decisions to help take the right action daily to give you energy. • Set ourselves goals to work with our energy so it becomes a habit and what becomes habitual changes our life. • Set ourselves time in the day to switch off although Social Media can be helpful but too much mindless swiping drains our energy. Switching off in the day is very important. • Summing up focus on the positive not the negative, become aware of where we are losing energy and where we can get it back and be grateful and build on the good as that is one of the simplest ways to make us feel good.

Today we talk about the question:

Are your beliefs around money making you the culprit or the victim in your own personal or financial success? We will discuss abundant mindset vs scarcity mindset-you will be able to consider which one is your truth and where your money stories are inherited from. Furthermore, how that is affecting you now, your self-worth and gain the understanding that you are deserving of wealth.

What you will discover:

-Generally, there are two mindsets the scarcity mindset and the abundant mindset people fall into: Scarcity money mindset is thinking you are never going to have enough money and hence come from a place of lack. Abundant money mindset - Stephen Covey defined it as there is enough resources and successes for everyone. - Money can be a taboo and scary subject and it is important to understand the relationship we have with money. It is important to explore, acknowledge and discuss money to live our best life otherwise we will continue to live in ignorance or denial. - Thoughts and feelings towards money can dictate our entire lifestyle-impacting how we live day to day and our future success. - We have money stories that are not always ours and they are difficult to recognise. They often are inherited from our upbringing, friends, society etc - We can change our money script and this can change our trajectory but we must be aware first. - It is good to look around at people that have made money from noting they have this abundant money mindset. - Money needs a direction (focus) you need a budget and a financial plan you can’t ignore it and expect it to sort itself out. If you continue not to confront the issue the results will be the same- things won’t change. - Sometimes you might need to get in debt and invest in a course or time to study something which will shift you forward; to make it possible for you to earn the money you want to earn to enable you to have the lifestyle you want. - A powerful exercise to help you to understand your relationship with money is to take a meaningful amount for you out of the cashpoint. You go home and sit with it in your hands for 5mins and notice how it is making you feel (expect a lot of emotions). Start to talk to it and ask it anything you want. What is coming up for you? Ask yourself why are these emotions coming up? Then after write down the answers. You will start to realise the story you have around money and start to build a better script around money. Sitting with the money helps you reconnect with the money. - Or you can also try personalising money. How does money look for you? Give it a “life’, an appearance and notice what feelings does that “person” bring to you.

But above it all, always remind yourself your money is your story, and you can shape it and shift it towards your goals and success. Comparison, negative self-talk…will only feed you scarcity mindset and keep you stuck where you are. Make small changes, take small steps and focus on what you can do and achieve.

Today we talk about the question: How can we boost our efficiency? If you have heard yourself saying I don’t have time for that I wish the day had 48hrs How do people get things done?...

If you are tired of hearing and saying those too; today’s podcast will be useful in giving you tips to be more efficient and do things you want to do.

What you will discover: - Have a solution orientated mindset. Focus on what you CAN do. - If you get annoyed with want you haven't done you are disabling your productivity-keep positive. - Important to recognise there are lots of times in the day we could be utilising in a better way. - Start with knowing exactly what you want to achieve and what you want your life to look like. Then you can prioritise what you want to spend your time doing. - We all have 24hrs in the day, plan how to spend it to make the most of it. It is helpful if we break things down to manageable chunks. - To help you learn to prioritise do THE BIG ROCKS IN THE JAR exercise. The big 5 rocks are what are most important to you and that is the focus of your time and energy. The sand are all the small things you do in your life to fit around your main priorities. It is good to draw this. - It comes down to choice, doing the big things you don’t want to do first is helpful. This is what top performers do as it creates momentum, helps you feel like a winner and your day becomes more productive. - Academic research shows that many people don’t focus on what is important to them and then your actions are not aligned with what you want to achieve and then that drains your energy. - Ask yourself: Why am I focusing on the small stuff? What am I avoiding? - Our main priorities can take more time and effort and this is maybe why people don’t focus on them. - Effort can be a stretch and uncomfortable which is maybe why people go back to the sand (small easy insignificant jobs). Keeping us safe. But the safe life doesn't give us the best life. - We can hack our biology to help us be more efficient-if we hack our biology we can achieve more. We can use our body to help us feel we can achieve anything. - Create a daily routine of a Gratitude list, Nutritious breakfast, exercise to release the feel good hormones and swell the brain to help it be more focused and efficient. By eating nutritiously and exercising we are creating a natural positive energy state. - When you are in a positive energy state you can be super efficient. When your energy drains again create more energy; rest for a bit by sitting in silence or meditating. Work with your body and mind. - Our thought process in today's world means we are often in survival mode hence reactive instead of proactive this causes the same habits to play over and over. Helpful to shift your mindset from survival mode to success. How are you going to have a good day today? How do I want to feel at the end of this day? - Don’t beat yourself up if you are finding it challenging, but do look at your diary so you are looking at the time opportunities. - We need to acknowledge how our brains work, we work in a reward system. The reward will be the feeling if we get hard things done first. - It all goes back to feelings - we want to feel good. Once we do the action then we will feel better. We need to commit to the actions to feel better. We will rarely feel like going for a run in the cold and rain but if you remember the feeling you will get after the action you will do it. - Look at things in your life that you have to do and consider how you can do them more time efficiently in alignment with your main priorities. - Investing some time wisely can mean a better tomorrow. It can be hard but we will reap the rewards. - Finally remember to work with your body and energy levels, commit to daily action (small steps) towards your main priorities and plan for a better life ahead.

What obstacles are getting in your way? What do you think is holding you back?

Today we talk about the question: Do limiting beliefs hold us back? We discuss that we all have an inner critic that was there in Primitive times to keep us safe (from an attack, from a bear for example). We dig deeper into limiting beliefs and give tried and tested tools that help people overcome them.

What are and where do limiting beliefs come from?: - Limiting beliefs are something you believe to be true about yourself. - Limiting beliefs hold you back from making progress and keep you stuck - Limiting beliefs come from society, education, family, friends and experiences - Limiting beliefs come from our filtered perception - What our brains tell us isn’t necessarily true - Faulty logic causes our inner critic to get louder - Naming your inner critic helps you dissociate from it - Limiting beliefs can be; I am not very smart or funny, my brother is the successful one, money is easy hard to come by and easy to lose - Inner voice tells you what you could or should do and even judges others - We all have limiting beliefs because our primitive brain is their to keep us safe it thinks it is warning you of the dangers - To overcome your limiting beliefs the first step is to become aware you are having them and the negative effect they are having on your life -

You can manage limiting beliefs by using the following tools:

Talking to family and friends that know you

Looking back in your past for evidence that proves your inner critic wrong.

Guided meditation twice a day can help you reprogram yourself at a deeper level. Sitting in Silence helps you to connect with your true nature/essence to overcome the learned limiting beliefs.

Journaling is a great tool to help you become aware of what patterns of behaviour you have and what is helping you or not helping you, Also can help you see what you are grateful for.

Using Motivational videos helps you grow the mindset anything is possible.

Answering powerful questions help you unpack your thinking.

  • Limiting beliefs if not careful become your identity.
  • We can think about what we want to become and reprogram our belief system if it is not serving us and it is not in line with our values.
  • The brain is malleable, it can be changed this can be seen on MRI scans showing new neural pathways being made.
  • We can achieve anything when we lose hope we lose our dreams,
  • Limiting beliefs can work the other way. If you think you can achieve anything you won’t ask for help when needed
  • Children make sense of the world by sharing their feelings.
  • It is a choice if you let limiting beliefs hold you back
  • Eckhart Tolle who wrote the Power of Now said, ‘Don’t block your inner critic , acknowledge, listen to it, take the learning and move on from it.
  • If our thoughts are not in line with our core values we have to consider if they are not our beliefs.
  • Thoughts don’t define you they are not reality
  • Be patient if you have had 40yrs of being programmed to think a certain way the reprogramming won’t happen overnight.
  • If we take time and effort to reprogram our thoughts we can use our new thoughts to support who we want to be in the world.

Today we talk about the question: Do goals actually work? We discuss that everyone is unique and what works for one person when setting goals doesn’t necessarily work for another person. We talk about the the research that frighteningly explains that most people fail their goals and why we think this.

What you will discover: ● Goals can be achieved but the journey is different for everyone ● Goals need to be broken down into achievable steps ● Goals need self awareness ● We need to be honest with ourselves when setting goals so we can truly own it ● Visualising and getting quiet with ourselves helps us connect to our true self which helps us set a meaningful goal ● Before a goal is made we need to be clear why we want to achieve this goal ● If we are honest and clear about our why we are more likely to stick to our goal when it gets difficult ● Goals will get uncomfortable as we are pushing ourselves out our comfort zone to achieve something we haven’t achieved before ● We want quick fixes; a goal takes effort, time patience but is worth the commitment ● Goals need to made a priority as they take time to reach ● We need to get comfortable with the uncomfortable or familiar with the unfamiliar. Humans seek pleasure not pain ● When circumstances change or problems rear their ugly head don’t give up and use excuses reevaluate with the new circumstances and workout how we can still move towards our goal ● Goals need commitment
