We are a family church, rooted in the local community and passionate about God. We serve people of the local area and further afield.Sunday Services are at 10.45am and 6pm. Who doesn't like a good story?
Join us to look at this familiar story of Jesus through fresh eyes.
Jesus was speaking to a huge crowd when he told the story of the sower and the four types of soil. Some would reject, some would recieve but then fall away, some would accept what he was saying and then get distracted and others would willingly take onboard his teachings and amazing things happened.
Do you ever wish you were a little wiser than you are?
The Bible tells that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. That is due, in part, to the fact that God is the wisest being ever and knows absolutely everything about everything! Wouldn't you like to know this all-wise God better?
Does Sin affect you?
The Bible goes into great detail about the consequences of sin on our human nature. This message looks into the story of a blind and mute man who meets Jesus. We will see how sin hurts Jesus, Sin inhibits and Sin isolates and we will see how Jesus deals with people personally, Jesus releases from bondage and Jesus heals by his Word.

What does the Bible say our bodies will be like in ressurection?
In the previous passages Paul puts forth arguments of why the ressurection is fact. In these verses Paul explains the truths concerning the nature of our ressurection bodies. Listen to see 5 beautiful changes that are promised for our future bodies.
Have you ever made a change in your life? Have you ever made a fresh start? Have you ever left an old way of doing things behind?
All of those are involved in repentance. Repentance is turning from something to something. The command of Jesus to all humankind is to repent from our current way thinking, believing and living and turn to Jesus Christ. He offers us eternal life, on the condition we repent and place our trust for forgiveness and salvation solely in Him.

When did the Christians church begin? Acts 2 documents the curcumstances and the supernatural happenings of the birth of the Christian Church. Founded on the Jewish Old Testament and approved by the ministry of Jesus and the prophecies, the birth of the Church is an event to take note of. Many began living a new way that day and many do each day!
This covenant service is an oportunity for you to examine yourself before the Lord and rededicate yourself to Him.
This year we are taking as our verse of the year Isaiah 40:31. This message will help you unbderstand it in context and how it applies to your life this year.

Why do we need a saviour. In the Bible, a saviour was anyone who performed an act of rescue or deliverance, usually from an enemy. How do we refer to Jesus?
The Bible has many names for God. We wills see how Lord is a very important linmk between Jesus and God and infact is one of the most powerful ways of affirming that Jesus is actually God.
Have you arrived? Are you trusting in the physical, material world? Are you trusting in another person?
The King in Daniel 5 thought he had arrived and he was trusting in the powerful kingdom arround him. One night that all changed when God revealed His judgement towards the king.

There is lots to distract us in life and its really easy to get knocked off Gods course for our lives. Nehemiah is a great person to learn from. He took a burden he had for Gods people to the Lord, prayed about it and thought about it for 4 months then presented his request to the little god on earth. This message uncovers his character and helps us to seek to have a Godly character too.
Who is Jesus?

Jesus is the most influential character of history. He has been the subject of more books, paintings and songs than any other figure of history.
We will look into Who is Jesus - He was a man, He is God, He is the Lamb of God and He is the way to God.
What makes you happy? Its the 'if only...' way of thinking.
God tells us in Psalm 1 about first what wont make us happy, but then what will lead to happiness. Ultimately it comes from knowing the Lord Jesus as saviour, Lord friend and more. Listen to our guest speaker John Hurst as he unpacks Psalm 1.
What do you do when life gets you down, or your in the dumps, or it feels like its all too much? Well, God is big enough and longs to help us and be our strength if we will let him in.

The temple was built for God and as the people followed the Lord, iits walls were glorious. But as the devotion of the people faltered the walls became walls of shame. When we follow the Lord our life brings Glory to God, but when we are faltering in our devotion our lives bring shame. Join us to learn more

What actually is a Christian?
There is lots of confusion about what a Christian actually is. Is it where your born, what family youre born into or something else?
Here we will attempt to answer the question with 4 key statements: A Christian is someone who 1. has recognised who God is, 2. has repented of the wrong in their lfie, 3. has recieved what Jesus offers, 4. is enjoying living with what Jesus has given them.

As we look at Balaam's life there seems to be a godliness about him. He converses with God and seems keen to obey Him. But, as we study him more closely we see that there's a falseness about his actions and an underlying focus on self and what he can get out of the situation. Here's a warning that we need to be genuine in our walk with God.
You can go to most villages, towns and cities and find various monuments, statues, buildings, plaques and all kinds of things to commemorate an event or someone's life usually. And why? Usually they are there to remind us of an event or a person and their achievements.
The Bible is a written record, like the landmarks, plaques and statues, of events where God has intervened in various discrete and quiet or dramatic and visual ways like this. It reveals to us, something about God's character, that is, who God actually is.
We’re going to look at Israel crossing the Red sea recorded in Exodus chapter 14 from three different angles. First, in its immediate context and see what we can learn about the people, their leader and God. Second, I’m going to try and show you a comparison of Jesus and Moses, that I hope will strengthen your understanding of who Jesus is. Third, we will see how the history of the people Israel is a picture of the life of every Christian.
And by exploring where we are on our spiritual journey, we will answer the question ‘what does this have to do with me?’
Take a look at Hebrews 10:23 - Do you think your living it out? This is our church year verse for 2020. Join us as we dive in and take a deeper look at what it means and what it means for us and how we can live it out in our daily lives.
The surrounding verses in chapter 10 assure us that we can trust in Christ’s once for all sacrifice. They also reminds us we have our brothers and sisters to spur on and encourage us as we do the same for them and urge us to leave behind the old life and embrace the new. Let’s ask ourselves, “How far up the bar?”

What do you do with your cares?
Not just your worries, but your thoughts, wonderings, things your unsure about. The Bible tells us Jesus is big enough to deal with them and work them out. But more than that, we are tole God really cares for us.

How do you make your decisions? What do you base your decisions on?
The small decisions we make in life prepare us for the big ones.
Learn from the life of David and understand what he was basing his decisions on in 2 Samuel 11.
We will see what God does now that he has brought Noah and his family into a new world. How God covenants with his people and provides.
Join us in the account of Noahs Flood in Genesis 6. We will learn what Righteous and Blameless mean; think about the state of the people of the world at that time and how in judgement, God also provided a means of escape for any who chose to come aboard the Ark. We will also look at how the Ark is a picture of Jesus Christ and the Salvation God has provided which is full, finished and free and what this means to us.

God wants to give each of us understanding of spiritual truths so we can build our lives upon them.
In 15-25 of the first chapter of Pauls letter to the Ephesians he tells them what his prayer for them is.
He prays they would grow in their understanding of 3 wonderful truths
- The Hope of the christian
- The Wealth that belongs to the Christian
- The Power available to the Christian
