This week Stephanie Rodin chats with her guest, Eric Lorenzo. The two chat about shifts in new interpretations of the rules in immigration over the last 16 years, how greatly who is in office affects those changes, and what he would change about the immigration process. In this episode, we discuss:
Eric Lorenzo has been an immigration lawyer for 16 years and currently runs his own practice in Midtown Manhattan. He has represented and consulted several small and large companies, including publicly traded companies on their immigration issues regarding their employees. He graduated from the Delaware Law School in 2007 where Joe Biden was a professor. He was recruited to work with Mayor Eric Adams’s office to deal with the migrant crisis in New York City. He has spoken numerous times on various employment based and family based immigration topics with the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
