Treasury says President Jacob Zuma must pay back seven-point-eight million rand for non-security upgrades at his Nkandla home. The figure represents 88% of costs incurred on the upgrades. The finance ministry probed the matter in compliance with a Constitutional Court directive issued in March. The court ordered the President to comply with remedial action by the Public Protector related to upgrades at his private residence.
