Police are still searching for the community members who set alight a woman at the weekend in Itereleng informal settlement west of Pretoria after accusing her of killing a nine year old for muti. The nine year old boy was found laying face down along a stream with a cut in his stomach and a head wound. This is not the first instance where people have been fingered for killing for muti- we have heard of reports where people's eyes were gouged out and their private parts cut. Last week the Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Rights Commission has urged traditional healers not to use body parts for healing. On the Forum at eight this morning we ask; How do we stop ritual killings? Our guests Colonel Attie Lamprecht who is Commander of Harmful occult related crimes at South African Police Service and Phepsile Maseko , nationalcoordinator of the Traditional Healers Organisation and an imyanga discus the matter.
