Minister of higher Education Blade Nzimande says government will fund over 200-hundred thousand students with disabled and previously disadvantaged backgrounds who are entering universities. Of the half a million students of the 2014 matriculants over 150-thousand students qualified for admission to study towards a degree and about a 166-thousand for admission to study towards a diploma.

Many Universities have however already announced that they do not have room for any more students. Many of the students will not have resources to further their studies and will be forced to join their predecessors who are still seeking employment. On the Forum@ 8 this morning we focus on higher education; Where will the matriculants of 2014 study? We look at the administration process and some of the challenges that prospective learners go through during this period?
