Between the altar of sacrifice and the Holy Place of the tabernacle we find the bronze basin. It was here that the priests washed their hands and feet before entering into and coming out of the Holy Place. For us the water in the basin speaks of Jesus, the living Word of God that changes us and gives us eternal life. The basin is the continual washing and the daily cleansing that comes from the ministry of the Word of God in our lives.
