The 3rd Annual Bram Fischer memorial Lecture delivered by Councillor Thabo Manyoni – Executive Mayor of the Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality, under the theme Redeeming South from the shackles of racism Celebrating Bram Fischer’s 108th birthday this year, Mangaung Metro once again traces the life and times of a Free Stater who strived for social cohesion and social justice in South Africa. This lecture was part of the Bram Fischer Memorial Week, through which the city seeks to sustain the legacy of the icon, in order to educate and inspire the entire nation, particularly the youth and students who are the future of the country.
