Why did we begin to interpret common childhood and adolescent behaviors as symptoms?
The United States has utilized the school environment to determine what is normal or abnormal behavior, leading to subjectivity and bias. Close to 10% of children have been drugged and labeled with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
