Ravi Dahiya was 2-9 down in the 57 kg semifinals against Kazakhstan's Nurislam Sanayev. Ravi was fading out quickly, with his opponent rolling him to within one spin of being eliminated from the semifinals. With a heavy snap on the Kazakh’s shoulder, he pinned his opponent and as the referee counted out, Ravi won by fall. He will take on World Champion Zavur Uguev for the Gold Medal tomorrow. Meanwhile, Deepak Punia will compete for a bronze medal after being defeated by the formidable American David Morris Taylor in the Olympic Games 86 kg semifinals on Wednesday.
