It's Group Therapy Thursday time sponsored by Paladino's Cicero Pizza!

Dear Ted and Amy,
I am a middle school teacher and I do it because I love my kids. Some think that is a very difficult age to work with but I think it’s the best. What I don’t love, parents, is that you don’t make them take a shower before they come into school. I get it that some kids have bad home situations and taking a shower daily is not an option. But that doesn’t explain the other kids who come into my classroom that I know have plenty of running hot water at home, and it’s pretty clear they don’t shower regularly or wear deodorant. No, it’s not just one. And as the weather gets warmer and the sweat starts flying, it’s going to go to a whole other level. Please, for the love of God parents, can you talk your kids into cleaning up and putting on clean clothes before they expose my nose to eight hours of really bad stink? Are you having a hard time convincing them it’s a good idea? Is it because kids in general just don’t smell it? Signed,
Keeping it Real in Kirkville
