Dear Ted and Amy,
My boyfriend is headed to a bachelor’s party weekend out of town next weekend. One of his best friends is getting married and they are all renting a house on a beach and actually chose a place where none of the guys live. And here’s the deal – when they get there, the groom has insisted that they lock up all of their cell phones and don’t use them all weekend. Obviously they are there for an emergency. But he says that way they can have a great time together as friends and there will be no photos of any of the dumb stuff that they get into. I think it’s cool that they want to make good memories. But now I’m very upset about the memories that they don’t want captured on camera! I’m trying not to be that jealous girlfriend but it’s annoying that if I want to reach him, I have to either wait until he calls me, or is headed home. I wouldn’t do that to him.Should I be irritated or is this something that guys do?
