Do you ever have those "family weekends" where all you do is spend time with your family?
Well, that's exactly what this weekend was for me. I spent Friday-Sunday with my cousin and sister in the Adirondacks and then once I was back, made a homemade dinner for my family to eat together before having a zoom call with the rest of my extended family because today was my Abuela's birthday (in between all that craziness, my sister pierced my cartilage ahah). I think that zoom call was the best possible way that I could have ended my weekend. Just sharing a chair with my sister talking to my 20 other family members talking about funny memories in between sharing our goals for the new year was absolutely the best.
Honestly, this weekend was such a great reset and a reminder of the importance of spending time with my family members. I could not agree more that when you have lived your life, it will be the small moments that matter. Those small moments you spend with those people that will love you unconditionally no matter what.
