Episode 64. I start this episode with a life update. I am currently applying to residency programs, and interviews are starting soon! Looking forward to creating content soon to help future applicants.

The episode covers what vaccines are and how they cause immunity. I go into detail about different types of vaccines, including inactivated (killed) vaccines, live attenuated vaccines, toxoid vaccines, mRNA vaccines, and vector (carrier) vaccines. Then, I specifically discuss the important of the influenzae (the flu) vaccine, which is timely because these vaccines are now available for flu season! I also briefly discuss COVID vaccines and recommendations for a booster in the 2022-2023 season.
