Mark has a winning mindset gained from Formula One (F1) McLaren F1, Super Aguri Honda F1, Arrows Grand Prix, DS TECHEETAH Formula E team principal. Founder of StreetDrone autonomous car company, specialising in low speed last mile delivery partnering with high street retailer wilko and Nissan Sunderland manufacturing plant.
The DS TECHEETAH Formula E Team was the first team in Formula E history to become double world champions in the series-clinching 3 Drivers and 2 Teams championships: 5 Championships out of a possible 8 in 4 seasons!
Mark was a Founding Team Principal in the Formula E series which started in 2014 which showcases the latest technology in electric vehicles (EV).
StreetDrone is a leading developer of last mile logistics vehicles and recently received investment from high street retailer wilko to develop the StreetDrone Pix-E delivery vehicle and the StreetDrone Terberg autonomous yard tractor.
SD Labs is a subsidiary of StreetDrone and focusses on the testing autonomous R&D vehicles selling the autonomous Nissan eNV200 and Renault Twizy.
After a career in Formula One in teams such as McLaren and Arrows Grand Prix, Mark moved into Formula E which is the culmination of a strategy focussed on how mega-trends come together to create a new vision for future mobility, CASE, connected, autonomous, shared and ELECTRIC.
Expertise, vision and a passion to succeed have led Mark to develop a rare blend of business acumen, management and engineering which delivers results. After starting a Formula One Team, Super Aguri, in 100 days, his career has recently focussed on industries that are seeing disruptive change through a number of start-ups in autonomous vehicles, informal transport, carbon fibre composites and electric powertrains.
This makes Mark uniquely positioned to deliver business planning and execution advice including technical due diligence, operations and management.
Mark is the Automotive Advisor to the Oxford University Said Business School and on the advisory board of Oxford Brookes University MEMS.
