In this section of Ephesians 5:15-21 we see that We must live a controlled life as a believer! The first aspect of this section that will help us to do that is seen in v. 15,  1) LIVING A CONTROLLED LIFE IS COMMANDED. The second aspect to help us achieve this goal is found in v. 16, that 2) LIVING A CONTROLLED LIFE INVOLVES UNDERSTANDING AND TIME MANAGEMENT. Thirdly, we see in v. 17 that 3) LIVING A CONTROLLED LIFE MEANS THAT WE SUBMIT OUR MINDS TO THE WISDOM OF GOD. Now, with vv. 18-21, we see that 4) LIVING A CONTROLLED LIFE MEANS MAKING DELIBERATE DECISIONS ABOUT WHAT THINGS WILL HAVE CONTROL OVER YOU.
