2 Peter 1:3-4 address a very important doctrine pertaining to the Scriptures themselves. We see in them that We must affirm the sufficiency of Scripture in addressing our entire life on earth! In verse 3 we saw that 1) THE SUFFICIENCY OF SCRIPTURE IS A POWERFUL DOCTRINE, and started to discuss 2) THE SUFFICIENCY OF SCRIPTURE IS A GIFT. We finish up that second point in this episode and move on to the last principle found in verse four, 3) THE SUFFICIENCY OF SCRIPTURE HAS A PURPOSE.
