Today, we discuss the word "Eden" as well as the river that flowed out of it in vv. 10-14 where we argue that we can have a general idea as to its location based on a couple of different factors. Then, in vv. 15-17 we look at the restatement of a portion of 2:8 which also indicates purpose: to work and keep the garden, as well as the restriction and consequence that is put on Adam.
