We looked at the first two lessons:

1) Mankind's purpose is to represent God and enjoy his blessing (vv. 1-5)

2) Mankind's responsibility is to walk with God (5:21-24 – Enoch)

And now we look at the final lesson:

3) Mankind’s hope is for relief from the curse. In this we briefly discuss the lifespan of Methuselah, as well as noting the unique age at which Lamech died. Then, look at his speech that he made when he named his son, Noah and talk about the lesson that we can learn from it.
