This episode covers the introduction to Genesis chapter 6. In it, we tie it back to the toledoth ("the generations of") Genesis 5:1 and show how that is still in play. Then, we discuss how death is presented in three distinct ways from Genesis 4-6, with each chapter highlighting a unique aspect of death. We see that

1) Death is seen as a wicked tool in the hands of sinful men in ch. 4.

2) Death is the natural result of the curse in ch. 5. And...

3) Death is brought about by God in ch. 6.

All of this is important because as we prepare to dive into the content of the opening verses of chapter 6, we need to understand this so that we can more fully appreciate God's direct intervention in bringing death about after what happens.
