In vv. 1-5 we saw 1) The saving of the remnant. 

Then, in vv. 6-9 we saw 2) The Time Frame of the Ark Narrative.

In vv. 10-12 we began to look at 3) The Wrath Outpoured. a) Flood waters came according to God's Word; b) Date is specified; c) Nature of the flooding (vv. 11-12); d) obedience and faith re-emphasized (vv. 13-15); e) Only God can save from His wrath (v. 16); f) Duration and Scope of the Flood; g) Result of the flood = death and salvation.
