This entire chapter fleshes out what we read in Rom. 12:18 - "If Possible, Live Peaceably With All."

In vv. 1-7 we understand that 1) The Prosperity of God’s People May Bring Strife.

Then, in vv. 8-13 we see that 2) Strife Can be settled by the generous actions of those living by faith.

Today, we see in vv. 14-18 that 3) The generous actions of the faithful receive the approval of the beneficent Lord.
