In vv. 1-14 we saw that 1) God warns his people that he will destroy their world because of its grievous sin.

Then, in vv. 15-22 we learned that 2) The Influence of the World can be alluring to a believer, but it is contemptible to God!

We saw in vv. 23-29 that 3) God will preserve the righteous from the destruction of their world.

Finally, in vv. 30-38 we learn that 4) Those who have grown comfortable in the wicked city may retain its corruption.
