In this section that starts in v. 22 we are learning about the importance of seeking peace in our lives. We read in Ps. 34:14 – “Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.”

In vv. 22-24 we learned that 1) Believers should be willing to work with the reasonable requests of others.

Then, in vv. 25-27 we saw that 2) Believers should try to work to repair peace when it is endangered.

Today, we see in vv. 28-30 that 3) Serious peace will come with serious cost.

And in vv. 31-34 that 4) 1.     It is the duty of believers to continue living for peace according to their words.
