In today's episode we continue an examination of 1 Tim. 2:8-10 - The Church in Worship, and move from Part 1 (Prayer) into Part 2 (Modesty).

In v. 8 we learned that 1) Corporate prayer is to be led by faith-driven men.

Now, in vv. 9-10 we learn that 2) Women in the church should be properly adorned. We set the background for this discussion on modesty by discussing the origin of human language and establish that we can, in fact, know what Scripture means, and then begin to discuss modesty, noting that it is both external as well as internal, and that external modesty has theological origins which may often be neglected in this discussion.
