1 Tim. 2:1-7 address the topic of "Gospel-Driven Prayer."

In vv. 1-2a we discussed 1) The Command to pray.

Then, in vv. 2b-3 we saw 2) The Work of prayer.

Now, in vv. 4-6 we started discussing 3) The Theology of Prayer.

In v. 4 we looked specifically at the idea that a) God desires salvation for those in authority.

Then, in v. 5 we learned that b) God, who offers salvation, is over all.

Today we see in v. 6 that c) The Work of Salvation is bound up in the person of Christ Jesus.

Finally, in v. 7 we note 4) The Apostle of Prayer
