In vv. 49:29-50:14 we learn that 1) The death of a believer provides a last opportunity to demonstrate faith in God.

Under this heading we learned that a) Upon the realization of imminent death a believer has the chance to demonstrate faith again.

In v. 33 we see b) Death visits all who are under the curse of sin – believers are not exempt.

Now, in v. 50:1 we learn that c) Death serves as a painful reminder of sin in a fallen world
