Genesis 39 takes us back to Joseph where we see him display great Personal Integrity. If we want to be people of integrity as well, then we need to learn some of the principles that we see in this chapter.

In vv. 1-6a we learned that 1) God is with his people wherever they may be.

In vv. 6b-10 we saw that 2) God may allow his people into situations where they are tested.

Now, in vv. 11-12 we learn that 3) God’s people can choose the path of righteousness in the face of severe trial.

Then, in vv. 13-20 we learn that 4) Choosing righteousness does not mean that others will honor your integrity.

And finally, in vv. 21-23 we see that 5) God continues to reward the faithfulness of his own.
