We are discussing Genesis 37:2-11: "God's Sovereign Choice of a Leader."

We are governed by this idea in these verses, that We must strive to be faithful to God if we are to be used in greater ways by God!

In vv. 2-4 we learn that 1) God is looking for faithful service in his servants.

We began discussing this section learning that...

a) There is no age limit on faithfulness (v. 2a) and

b) Faithfulness included integrity (righteousness) (v. 2b).

Now we continue by learning that,

c) Faithfulness may be rewarded (v. 3) and,

d) Faithfulness may not be received well by others (v. 4).
