We begin a discussion on Genesis 37:2-11 on "God's Sovereign Choice of a Leader."

We are governed by this idea in these verses, that We must strive to be faithful to God if we are to be used in greater ways by God!

In vv. 2-4 we learn that 1) God is looking for faithful service in his servants.

We only begin to discuss this section learning that...

a) There is no age limit on faithfulness (v. 2a) and

b) Faithfulness included integrity (righteousness) (v. 2b).
