Gen. 32:22-32 cover Jacob's famous wrestling match. The broad topic at hand is that of "Striving With God," something we have all done at one point or another, no doubt.

In vv. 22-25 we looked at the fight itself and learn that 1) The Lord may occasionally cripple believers in order to bless them.

In vv. 26-29 we examined the idea that 2) The Lord Blesses the Dependent Believer with the prospects of Victory.

In v. 30 we note the response of Jacob, that 3) The Believer who realizes the true source of victory will become confident in the faith.

And, in vv. 31-32 we discuss 4) the Epilogue and form of the section.
