Rev. 1:9-11 comprises a section that I have titled "The Man with a Vision." Having already been introduced to John, we now learn a little bit more about him in these three verses and we are governed by the idea that We must adopt the characteristics of one who sees Christ!

In 1:9a we learned that 1) The one who sees Christ is a Believer.

Now, in 1:9b we see that 2) The one who sees Christ is willing to suffer for Him.

And lastly, in vv. 10-11 we learn that 3) The one who sees Christ is in the right position to receive revelation.
