Revelation 2:18-29 covers the topic of "The Church that Celebrated Sin." Here we want to work with the idea that We must purge what is sinful in our worship! Why?

In v. 18 we learn that 1) Nothing escapes God.

Then, in vv. 19-23 we see that 2) God sees both the good and the bad.

Under this we see a) There are usually things to be commended in a church (v. 19).

Also b) Sinful practice of worship in the church is abominable to God (vv. 20-23).
