About the Series: Chapter 11 begins a new section in John. Jesus’ public ministry ends (10:42) and as he moves toward Jerusalem, Christ will give us one last sign: to grant life of someone who is dead. This “last” sign points to what Jesus’ upcoming death recorded will do for all who believe. A truth Jesus reveals in full in chapter 12. Sadly, people don’t want a Savior who has to die but one who destroys their enemies here and now leaving them glorious! Jesus shows us how God is “upside-down” from us.
