In the late 1880's, John Hyrum Koyle had a dream that a local mine was full of treasure to assist the LDS church in times of crisis. Koyle had a history of his dreams coming true in his waking life, and others believed this to be true as well. After selling thousands of shares to dig in the mine, nothing of value was found. Is there still unearthed treasure in Salem or was it a hoax?
