Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice on the cross and in return He asks that if we follow Him to take up our crosses in life. Odds are it won’t mean laying down our physical lives however it could mean laying down our personal desires, goals and aspirations. Denying oneself for the sake of another. Not a comfortable proposition but one that has immeasurable reward.
