Welcome to "Living Your Truth" podcast I am your host TAVARES and we are here to help people understand what it means to live their truth and how to recognize the obstacles and how to embrace the obstacles because there are levels to this. It’s important to be self-aware, it’s important to be constantly in a space of self evolution. You don’t wanna get caught standing still. Living your truth will set you free. I know that sounds cliché. But it’s true.People may ask me what qualifies me to talk about this well....I’m a recovering drug attic, recovering alcoholic, father at 19, convicted felon, I’m in a successful marriage, I’m an author, twice published,I've worked on the radio and television, I’ve had success, and I have failed, I have caused pain, I have endured pain, I’ve been abusive, and I’ve been abused.I have touched life and life has touched me right back. There are many people who are going to judge me based on this podcast, I don’t care. Let me say it again for you...I don’t care. That’s why it’s called Living Your Truth...(as in the individual)That’s why I encourage you all to live your truth. Living your truth is about you taking accountability and responsibility for your life in all its glory or not. The good, bad, ugly, pretty, not so pretty, the darkness and the light. What do you know about survival? What do you know about slowly yet surely killing yourself and enjoying the ride on the way there....? What do you know about that....?I know a lot about that....I am the survivor of my lifetime. If you could judge me and my details regarding my life, then you haven’t paid enough attention to your own.Everyone has a backstory.Your journey is a 1 on 1 journey. Of course the things that you do or may not do can and will affect those immediately around you, your inner circle, family, significant others children etc.I said it before and I’ll say it again.....there are levels to this, there are levels to living your truth.
