I geared this item toward people who are going through a traumatic experience or who have just received a life-threatening medical diagnosis. Besides having a successful career as a Maxillofacial Trauma Surgeon, I worked as a member of the Trauma Surgery team for almost 30 years before I left my practice due to bone marrow cancer. Over the course of 30 years, my background and personal journey both in a personal fight with Stage III cancer and a subsequent decision to become a cancer warrior (as a way to help others through fear and hardship) created within me a passion to help those who are dealing with interruptions in their life's course and are uncertain about their future. The disease that Dr. Bissell has does not have a cure, so it is treated medically. However, as a result, he had to face the realities of dealing with life-long cancer. His desire is that you will find a place in the world where you are accepted and loved for who you are. Every minute is filled with such critical importance for a human being, and thus he seeks to guide others in seeing that every moment is so precious.
