Hey, I’m Ericka.

I’m a published author and indie publisher. I’m also a former atheist turned believer.

I've struggled with depression, anxiety, and body dysmorphia (not to mention obsessive-compulsive thoughts) all my life. With the help of my husband and church group (and most of all Jesus), I've been slowly taking the bricks out of my backpack, and I'm starting to walk upright again.

I thought starting my blog as a podcast might be helpful to those who also deal with some of these things, especially fellow believers. I think we're often made to feel like we're not holy enough if we struggle with stuff, but it's through our struggles that God makes us holy.

These posts are essentially my online memoir, a place where I bring you my past experiences, my hardest memories, and let God guide me as I watch Him redeem the parts of me I’ve savagely broken.
