We've been told all our lives it's in the "middle" where we find "reasonable" people open to compromise. It's in the center where the "serious people" in both parties reside. This is the opposite of the truth. It is not the far left that is the most extreme, it's not the far right -- it is the corporatists in the "center." All their talk of "grand bargains," and "bootstraps" and "reaching across the aisle" hides an actual radical agenda. An agenda that has sucked up nearly all the wealth from the bottom 90% and handed it to the richest 1%. The donor class. The ones who own these "Centrists." Republicans? Democrats? Both parties have their "center" and their center has successfully staged a corporate coup over the past 40 years. Drinking all of our milkshakes in the name of "deficit reduction" and "job creation." It's time to expose their schemes and take our milkshakes back!
